Waldo Renewable is owned and operated by Mark and Rebecca Waldo. As a husband and wife team we utilize each others talents to maintain a sustainable livlihood.

Mark Waldo is a Master Electrician in the state of Connecticut, E1 #192179. Mark is trained in NEC (National Electric Code), and is versed in Contractors Business and Law requirements for the state and federal government.
Mark designs solar PV systems according to local, state and federal building and electrical standards. Mark completes the electric work for the solar PV systems and completes the system installation.
Mark is a NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practioners) certified Solar PV installer. He also holds a Renewable Energy License in the state of Oregon.
As a journeyman in the state of Oregon, Mark installed PV systems for Mr. Sun Solar in Portland. Mark installed grid-tie photovoltaic systems as the company's Lead Installer.
Rebecca Waldo has a Master of Science degree, awarded by Portland State University in 2007. Rebecca studied sustainable education in a unique learning community that focused on Leadership, Ecology and Culture.
As part of her culminating project Rebecca worked with Clean Air Cool Planet and Talcott Mountain Science Center on the development of a renewable energy education toolkit. Today the toolkit is used in science centers throughout Connecticut.
Rebecca was trained in solar design and installation at The Solar Living Institute (SLI), in Hopland, California. The facility is a 12-acre demonstration center for working renewable energy systems. Rebecca is passionate about all aspects of sustainability.
Rebecca uses her experience while maintaining the business side of the company. She takes care of the paperwork and helps Mark with installations.
